A tribute to Apostolic sons

2 kgs.6: 1 And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us. 2 Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye. kjv.

2kgs.6: 1. One day the guild of prophets came to Elisha and said, "You can see that this place where we're living under your leadership is getting cramped — we have no elbow room. 2 Give us permission to go down to the Jordan where each of us will get a log. We'll build a roomier place." Msg.

I may not speak the mid of many here, but the above scripture illustrates to me the true spirit of Apostolic sons in the house.

This to me is the way sons should think about the commission of the fathers. The desire to see what the lord has given to their Father grows and expands. True sons are not the ones who want to promote themselves.

In verses 5-6, of the above passage, we are told even the Axe they were using to build the house was borrowed, all for the sake of another man’s vision, just to ensure that the work is done and expansion takes place.

Are you surprised therefore then that the Axe floated as they turned back to the Apostle of the house?. When men preach to you and prophesied of your Axe floating, for what purpose was the axe in use in the first place and for who? Can we not see why most of our ministries (Axes) are not making headway? Most of us do not know how to think of the good of the others, (spiritual Fathers).
The Lord says, Luke 16:12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

.What it means is, your calling will come into lime light for just being faithful in another’s calling. You may ask the like of the Joshuas' who walked with Moses, the Timothys' that worked and walked with Paul and in this present century, the Pastor Enoch Adeboyes' of the R.C.C.

I speak as one who is experiencing this very favour from the lord, with a true son in the house by my side. Who has given all his has, both time and resources to cause that which the lord has placed in my hand and mind to go forth to realms that I least expected. He keeps exploring ways to let out the light that the Father is sharing with me for the Body of Christ. I could not have gone this far without him by my side.
Every true Father needs a genuine Apostolic son by his side as the likes of Pastor Maxwell E. Ogaga, Adetayo Bamiduros' and a host of others whose passion it is to see the commission go forth.

Where are the Demas in history who left Paul? How are they referred to in the scriptures as compared to Timothy today?

May true sons arise and take their place that they might reveal that for which God has apprehended them. Don’t be in a hurry to run away from this calling to be fully established in your own at the appointed time. Sons arise! And may they be Blessed by the Father.
